Hello, and thank you for stopping by! If you are in search of a photographer or videographer for whatever your needs may be, please reach out. I love to photograph portraits, action, animals, and events, as well as delve into documentary photography. Here's a little more about me:
Growing up, my family went on many 3 week camping trips. We didn't drive to one spot and camp for a couple weeks, though. We covered thousands of miles on these trips, which meant plenty of time for my sister and I to gaze out windows in the back seats of our minivan. Countless scenes captured in my mind and framed by a rectangular window, a built-in viewfinder if you will. It always amazed me how drastically I could change the feeling or meaning of a scene by what was included within the frame of the window. I picked up my dad's old film camera in high school, and haven't stopped looking through a viewfinder since. I started out in black and white film photography in high school, which is where I first grew to love portrait photography. I continued to develop my portraiture skills when I worked at a high-volume portrait studio for two years in high school. I moved to Bellingham, Washington to study visual journalism and business at Western Washington University. I learned more about photojournalism and videography during my time at WWU. I spent four summer seasons as the ranch photographer at the CM Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming, and I am currently a Photography Coordinator at Disney Fine Art Photography in Florida. I have work published in Western Horseman Magazine, UU World Magazine, Klipsun Magazine and The Western Front. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions, or if you are interested purchasing photos or arranging a session. |
